I stumbled across this amazing project (The Before I Die Project) today and I just had to share! Its more related to architecture in general, but I love the theme that is at the core of this project:

I turned the side of an abandoned house in my neighborhood into a giant chalkboard with grids that say, “Before I die I want to _______.” Residents can use chalk to write on the wall and remember what is important to them in life. Before I Die transforms neglected spaces into constructive ones where we can learn the hopes and aspirations of the people around us.

See all the pictures of the boards here

Why can’t we be doing this sort of thing everywhere? How else can we turn abandoned spaces into constructive ones?
